thankfully, it’s already melted quite a bit. hopefully it doesn’t stick around long…

we landed back in calgary just as the first wave of a “severe winter storm” hit. I was scraping snow off the car, while wearing shorts and jesus sandals. later that morning, we had anywhere between 6″ and 2′ of snow (depending on wind). awesome.

heading into the TLC before a day of meetings. looking forward to leaving the white blanket behind…

the last part of a spectacular week, about to be replaced by yet another heavy snow warning. spring was soooo close…

the battle for seasonal supremacy continues. winter will not give up easily…

a strong chinook blasts the snowpack out of the city. probably 3/4 of the winter’s collection of snow melted away in the last 48 hours. headwinds during the ride home were 50-77km/h, making it one heck of a great workout. and I made it home without eviscerating any lung tissue. awesome.

I finally got back on the bike again, after hardly riding at all during this last nasty stretch of winterness.
the wet, salty road grime isn’t doing my bike any favours. worth it.
