I passed the 3900km mark in 2009 this morning, along the Tuscany Boulevard onramp to Stoney Trail. I’ve now put on over 10,000km on my trusty Kona.

the morning ride, seen through my new el cheapo goggles. the box lists the much more masculine colour of “vermillion” – but Evan is convinced that I have pink goggles…

I only went down twice – once quite hard, landing directly on the camera in the right panier. I think the camera survived, but I messed up my knee somehow.

I carved off a small portion of the basement to serve as a dedicated home office area – the “real” home office was converted into guest bedroom / storage. I took over an old bookcase that was storing useless old crap books, moved it into my Les Nessman inspired office, and started setting up shop. Eventually, a desk, comfy chair, table, light, beer fridge, drywall, iMac, etc… will fit in. And the pool table is nice and handy…
