      In our house, we pretend the US version disaster never happened. This is the original Japanese version, watched with subtitles.

        Oh, come on, the US versions of Godzilla rock! The japanese needed us to like it, we both know that.

        I just posted a version of the 1956 Raymond Burr release. I can see what you mean. It’s much better.

    I like the second one for its deep sense of third-row film criticism. The repetition of the speech bubbles makes the point well.
