I guessed at the starting point before, and was wrong. Looks like the Alberta ride starts at the Deerfoot Casino, then must head down Deerfoot to 22X then west to 22 before shooting south.

Looks like it will be picturesque but those elevations look torture!
yeah. those climbs are going to hurt. I’m doing a bit of hill training to get ready for it – heading out to Cochrane again this afternoon to tackle the big hill there.
