(2009)
I just spent a few minutes updating my podcast subscriptions – I haven’t really listened to podcasts for several months, and want to get back into more curated audio presentations, as opposed to the relentless randomness of Shuffle Mode music playlists.
I decided my previous set of subscriptions were essentially a self constructed echo chamber. I had subscribed to several edu-podcasts, all talking about various interpretations of the same issues. I need to break out of the echo chamber, so I unsubscribed from most of them (sorry – nothing personal). I added several music related podcasts, and a couple talk radio shows.
I’m not sure when I’ll have a chance to listen to them all, but I’m going to try. Perhaps as good background distraction while writing…

Does that mean ETS Talk is still on the list? If it is I promise we’ll make one next week after the TLT Symposium!
of course it’s still on the list. I have a backlog of episodes to get through, though…
I didn’t know you had your own podcast, awesome! The only podcast that we have in common is WNYC’s Radio Lab which I just hit pause on, coincidentally, but I would recommend This American Life for a good story-time non-sciency switch.
Really, I went to your blog to see if you scanned any of your childhood photos or artifacts. I will stay tuned.
I did some podcasting to explore it back in, what? 2005? man. time flies – you were probably still at the TLC back then
I was just flipping through the photo album that holds some of the photos I shot with that old camera that was in the box – all the way back to 1977. I was 8. I’ll be scanning the photos in ASAP – but will have to go into the office to do it…
