I&#039;m coaching my students, who are using photos from Flickr and other places, to email and try to make contact with photos&#039; owner, just to let them know that we&#039;re using them in the context of a private educational project.  I think this falls withing fair use, but it&#039;s nice when my kids get an email back thanking them (the students) for asking.</description>
