WordCamp Education @ Northern Voice 2009?

in general

It sounds like there might be a critical mass of education-minded folk at Northern Voice 2009 (Vancouver, February 2009), and I’d be more than happy to coordinate a WordCamp gathering before or after the conference. So, of the folks that are going to NV, how many would be interested in attending a WordCamp Education shindig?

You know my strategy, whatever D’Arcy wants to do is worth following ;-)

Count me in. Tricky thing is timing; after is touch since NV is Saturday, and we are burnt out; and then if you hold it the day before, does that detract what might go into NV?

Let’s do it beforehand, for sure, and count me in to help with any organizing or whatever. This is a great idea.

I’m in, and an extra day as Scott suggests is fine with me as well.

Sweet. Looks like the Thursday before Northern Voice would be the best bet. (MooseCamp is Friday, and we shouldn’t compete with that, and then the conference proper on Saturday). I agree that an extra day AFTER NV would be less productive…

I’d love it. I’m going to do my best to be there if other events don’t call first. :D

Also happy to assist in any way – we are gaining momentum at our institution with WPMu are eager to learn and contribute.
