I think it’s pretty cool that one of my sunrise photos got picked up by the Discover Magazine Bad Astronomy blog as part of their 2008 US Election blogging. Wonder if they realized the sunrise was over Calgary, just a wee bit north of the US border

I looked through a lot of sunrise pictures, and they were generally of exotic locales. Yours was closest, and had the right feel (I didn’t want it to look like a sunset). So yeah, I knew it was Canadian, so close enough.
