I took The Kids™ to Heritage Park this summer, thinking they would quickly get bored. To my surprise we spent about 6 hours there. I think they could have gone on the rides (especially the ferris wheels) for another 2 hours but we had to get back for supper. I think most kids are fascinated by the way things used to be, much more than we might expect. Mine were every bit as fascinated there as they were at the zoo. I think the zoo actually overstimulated them since they seemed to tire out much more quickly. It is a timeless, magical place. You are lucky to have a place like that where you live.
