		<description>Yeah. I followed the &quot;Spore - for Mac&quot; (or however it was worded) link on the EA website, hit the Preorder button and gave them money. At no point did it say &quot;PC-only&quot; - I assumed (incorrectly) that it was either for both, or that it would provide an option to download my selected platform when it was available. The &quot;Spore for Mac&quot; link to the store was misleading.

Since I wrote the post, they&#039;ve emailed me to offer a refund, after I sent a pretty clear, terse, but still polite (well, not rude, anyway) email outlining what the problem is.</description>

		<description>I didn&#039;t think the pre download or soft download was available for Mac at all...I ended up buying the creature creator at EB Games for $10 a while back ... I imagine they have the full version, too.

(And yes, the Mac needs to have compatible buy and download software services. I love and have written about Valve&#039;s Steam system on my blog)</description>
