I'm afraid Sage stopped being a workable RSS reader a long time ago, you just need to check how long it's been since an update to it. Wizz RSS is pretty good but it's rather heavy. Myself I ended up switching to Google Reader for RSS and Sage for testing RSS on sites I'm working on.
