Yeah. Dreamhost is having problems. Again. Sites are going up and down for whatever reason. Sorry. They say it'll be resolved shortly. Well, if this comment goes through, it _might_ be resolved already. I've pinged FeedBurner, and applied the nuclear option to Resync it.

It borked again- and I tried to resubscribe- gotta love this error message:
Bang! Kapowww! Krakkk!
(FeedBurner encountered an error while trying to bring you this feed and is now keeping its head down. Details follow.)

Feed Address: http://feeds.feedburner.com/DarcyNormanDotNet

HTTP Error Code: 500

Detail: There was a problem retrieving the feed: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
What can I do about this?

    * The issue you encountered may be temporary. If it persists after you reload this page, please click the button below to report it to us:

Ok, your feed has just died in my netvibes account, I get this lovely little message "looks like this feed is not valid or currently not responding" Could it be that you have to resynch with feedburner?

@David: glad it's working again/still :-)

I don't _need_ a standalone app, but ecto3 really nailed the categories interface. Even WordPress falls down on that. Only Drupal's freetagging UI is better...

@Heather: Tried Qumana after Northern Voice 2006. Wasn't too impressed. I might try the latest version just for kicks, though.

@Xeelee: I've never really used Sage. I tried it a couple of times just to see, but never switched to it. I'm on Google Reader now, after a year or so on BlogBridge.

As much as it pains me to say so... I'm afraid Sage stopped being a workable RSS reader a long time ago, you just need to check how long it's been since an update to it.

Wizz RSS is pretty good but it's rather heavy. Myself I ended up switching to Google Reader for RSS and Sage for testing RSS on sites I'm working on.

It works fine with Google Reader. By the way, if you're on a Mac, I like Qumana for blogging.

Hi D'Arcy-
It's back working fine- sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Can you share why a standalone blogging app like ecto 3 alpha is needed- I blog like crazy using WP and pressit- and don't seem to have problems.
Thanks!

You're feed seems to have been working fine in my netvibes, however, I did try and add a feedburner feed the other day and it was invalid. Perhaps feedburner just went on the frits for a few hours?
