You mean to tell me that what we’re doing is not about framing an affordable ( as in free) learning network that frames education in a radically new and open way? Interesting experiment, what does happen when language is emptied of any particular meaning and quickly becomes a jingoistic means for promoting some vaguely “global” vision of “excellence” that frames the neo-liberal educational montra of administrative tech-speak? This reads as much like a a linguistic break down a la Samuel Beckett as it does a laundry list of administrative tech buzzwords. What ever happened to making the design or framing that is useful for a class,can be shared with others within a distributed to learn, and gives people some particular tools to understand the world we live in?something that is useful
