It's taking some time to get the Podcasting program off the ground here at UCalgary. In the meantime, here's a preview of our beta distribution system.

I've heard rumours that we're working on a more scalable system, and I'm looking forward to that. The dubbing facility is just about maxed out at the moment…

Hey D’Arcy, I am thinking to get into “podcast”ing but never tried it. My plan is to interview my favorite bloggers and podcast it. Also how we can do it live?

  2. you can use iChat or Skype to do an interview and record that using other apps. Google for “record iChat” or “record skype” to find options for your operating system…

Thanks for your inputs. I think that will suffice, I will also check for live podcast through the website. No harm to try it.

  8. It’s hard to find 8-track tapes these days, so that’s probably not an option. How about megaphones? They’re still a pretty effective way of broadcasting your message.

I share your pain, our efforts at creating the perfect podcasting creation and distribution hub have not gone as I had hoped. Right now, less than perfect would be perfectly acceptable. Good luck, Barry
