I know that even if tomorrow the 40D came out that I would not jump at it because right now, I'm still learning my 30D and I can do everything with either an improved lens or in software (stitching to get panoramas and Photoshop/iPhoto/Lightroom Beta for manipulation and touchup. I must admit the eyepiece sensor thing is cool - I've caught myself trying to shoot while the LCD is on now and again.
