I'm still waiting to get rolling with my new toy (check out my confession) but when I was out and about today, I started noticing all sorts of low light type shots that I can try for now and with Future Shop clearing out the 75-300mm I'm thinking that I might get that once I research it a bit (early findings show that it's a bit of a lemon - better save for the 17-85 and the 50mm prime).

Nice composition and great colors - did you shoot RAW?

Raj - thanks. I'm still shooting jpeg (large/fine). Until I have the hard drive space to manage all those 8 MB files...

Nice composition D'Arcy :)

Raj, avoid the 75-300, if you are looking for that range go with the 70-300mm IS USM
