    Thanks for the list of recommended modules. Now how about a list of those that will work with 4.7.x.

    I've installed a number of the ones above, and keep running into

    Fatal Error: Call to undefined function: form_textfield()

    Some research suggests I'm not the only one having problems. See http://www.webschuur.com/node/575

    Are you using 4.7.x on your site? If so, which of the above modules are 'playing nice'.

    Martin - I’m using these modules on 4.7 just fine. You may need to download CVS versions of the modules - not all have updated their download packages. I followed the instructions at the Drupal CVS Handbook and just have to periodically run cvs update on that directory to make sure I’ve got the latest versions of any modules. (I do that on my desktop, test, then manually move appropriate modules to my servers - it’s safer that way)

    FYI, I enabled just the modules D'arcy recommends for the Simple Site, and all appears to be well.

    Martin,

    this is the common error seen when using vers.4.6 modules on a 4.7 site.

    Look under "view other releases" on the "find out more" page, and find a 4.7 or cvs release of your module, & you'll be OK.
