Their home crowd was no help (Edmonton's was amazing) and their health was questionable. The Oilers will have to play better in the next round even though they played amazing well in the first. I hope they can win... but I can't see anyone stopping New Jersey at the moment. They just have to play. There have been some great moments in some of the other games of the series, with players stepping up all over the place. But that completely evaporated last night. You could almost see the whites of their knuckles they were clenching their sticks so hard. Getta on the phone and tell ol' Sutter to get himself some goal scorers in the off season! That said, yeah it's been wacky. Every team that should have had a clear run at the cup has been knocked off by underdogs. I'm guessing there will be much off-season soul searching and team rebuilding.
