		<description>I think that&#039;s kinda the point of this session. ePortfolio has been co-opted by buzzword marketeers. But, an ePortfolio should be a refinement of your online stuff - something you can use to reflect on key moments, or use to represent yourself - the best of the best, cream of the crop stuff. I think my ePortfolio would likely be a SuprGlu site combining the &quot;Noteworthy&quot; tag on this blog with &quot;Interesting&quot; photos on Flickr...</description>

I&#039;m still not clear what an &quot;E-portfolio&quot; is- other than it sounds right up there with &quot;No student left behind&quot; sort of BS- something some bureaucrat came up with who didn&#039;t get it.
There is no reason not to just have the students load up their stuff on a free hosted blog site like www.wordpress.com
where it is accessible to everyone- and managable without any extra software.
The web isn&#039;t going to go away- the idea of &quot;portability&quot; is sort of antiquidated now- don&#039;t you think- bits not atoms- post one place- read everywhere....
Again- I&#039;m clueless to the terminology- but - every one should have their own webspace.</description>
