There should be some sort of imagemap or something so that you can click on a pic to take you to it…? Perhaps using Flickr notes… Am I being too demanding??? :P

I did the previous version using flickr notes. took a loooooong time to set up, but was a much nicer way to present it. However, I don’t think I can justify the time to do that every time :-) FD’s Flickr Toys Mosaic Creator creates the description links automatically, and that’s ~ good enough for me :-)

[...] My Flickr favourites mosaic is inspired by the regular mosaics that D’arcy Norman presents on his blog using FD’s Flickr Toys. Although the Flickr toys are fun I think that they fall a bit short of the mark because D’arcy’s favourites are static. You can’t go and see the pictures in more detail from his blog page. So I turned to Ruby and the flickr library that is readily available. [...]

Hi D’arcy. Inspired by what you’ve done with all your Flickr favourites I have scraped together a ruby script that generates a table filled with thumbnails. You can see an example on my blog.

The code for the script is at http://www.edrayne.co.uk/2006/02/21/ruby-script-to-generate-flickr-favourites-mosaic/.

    Best of luck. Ed.
