I'd try Feed Demon, but it's Windows-only. Doesn't matter how fast/good it is, it just won't run here :-)

I've been using Blogbridge for a while and switched to Feed Demon. Blogbrige is slow too slow as for a tool of information management in which you have to make snap decisions what to reed and what not to read.
Feed Demon is far cry better. It's damn fast and has so many functions that blogbrigde can only dreom of.
Sorry for say that, I know blogbridge is free and has very nice philosophy but I doesn't compensate for its inefficency.
All the best,
Greg

Charles, I was a NNW Pro user for what seemed like years. It's a great reader. But it just felt like it wasn't receiving any love by the developers with anything truly new. It has Smart Feeds (I forget the exact term in NNW-land, it's been a while) which would let you pull items from any feed based on keywords, etc... It has nice integration with the OS (built in WebKit browser, properly launches external browser with links in the background) and runs fast.

But it lacks the Starz rating feature that really makes Blogbridge dance (for me, at least). By combining Starz with keywords (or tags, or content matches), Blogbridge lets me do some really powerful things to mine my subscriptions to get to what I really want to read.

I'm sure other readers will start adding a feature like that. Blogbridge didn't invent the concept either - we've been treating our media in iTunes and iPhoto like this for years - but they did pioneer the use of it as applied to RSS subscriptions.
