Yes D'Arcy- your Blog now generates much quicker. Now I have to look up folksonomies. How are you generating a different picture in the header everytime-
and is there a more graceful way to handle the blog name in it?

Yes D'Arcy- your Blog now generates much quicker. Now I have to look up folksonomies.

It's still taking waaaay too long, but it's a start...

How are you generating a different picture in the header everytime-
and is there a more graceful way to handle the blog name in it?

I use this for the random image rotator:
http://automaticlabs.com/products/rotator/

And I just haven't had time to debug the non-centered byline/subtitle in the header. It was nicely centered until about a month ago, then something started conflicting with it - possibly a K2 theme update. The blog name renders with a nice black dropshadow on browsers that support that (Safari does, Firefox doesn't yet).
