However, you have given me an idea.  I wonder if I can whip something up to backup / replace / update the Safari RSS database using this FeedSpool [2] tool I&#039;ve been working on...

That, or something simpler which just makes hourly backups of the Safari RSS DB file.  It&#039;s just SQLite 3, after all.
