I do agree, the html that "blog this" outputs is more than what's necessary. With my version of Movable Type it makes my entry look like this: <a href="http://www.gunson.ca/blog/archives/2005/02/bloggable_me_1.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.gunson.ca/blog/archives/2005/02/bloggable_me_1.html</a> (note the weird font size for the first paragraph).
