		<description>Interesting article. Have you tried some free software called Wavosaur? (Available from:  http://www.wavosaur.com/ ). You are able to record, edit, mix, and output directly to MP3 (aswell as other formats). 

Not having any experience of producing Podcasts, I couldn&#039;t say for sure whther this would fulfill your needs, but it is certainly worth a look.

Another piece of freeware (Open Source) that may be worth investigating is Audacity (audacity.sourceforge.net), although I think Wavosaur is your best bet.
